I made an uncomplicated booking until 18:00 on a Saturday. Unfortunately, the store told me that it would be closed on Saturday afternoons. I would have had to collect my suitcase by 13:00. When asked, the friendly store owner offered me the option of picking up my suitcase at 6pm. He just asked me to be on time. He would come back to the store to hand over the suitcase. I gladly accepted this offer. So I was able to enjoy another day in Genoa after disembarking from my cruise ship. The suitcase handover was then uncomplicated at 18:00. 5 minutes later I was standing in the bar at Savona station, where I was able to enjoy the excellent Italian coffee before my journey home with flixbus. Being able to leave my suitcases made the day of departure a full vacation day. Thank you very much!

Ich hatte unkompliziert gebucht bis 18:00 Uhr an einem Samstag. Leider ergab sich im Geschäft, dass der Laden am Samstag nachmittags geschlossen bliebe. Ich hätte meinen Koffer bis 13:00 Uhr abholen müssen. Der freundliche Ladeninhaber bot mir auf Nachfrage an, dass ich den Koffer um 18:00 Uhr abholen könne. Er bat mich nur darum, dass ich pünktlich sein solle. Er würde zur Koffer Herausgabe noch einmal in das Geschäft kommen. Dieses Angebot nahm ich gerne an. So konnte ich nach der Ausschiffung von meinem Kreuzfahrtschiff noch einen Tag in Genua genießen. Die Kofferherausgabe war dann um 18:00 Uhr unkompliziert. 5 Minuten später stand ich dann in der Bar des Bahnhofes von Savona, wo ich vor der Heimfahrt mit flixbus noch einmal den hervorragenden italienischen Kaffee genießen konnte. Durch die Möglichkeit der Koffer Angabe war der Abreisetag ein vollwertiger Urlaubstag. Vielen Dank!
